Raindrops
This doesn't look like much I admit, but it has a special place in my heart.
Imagine leaving Phoenix during the Summer, with the temperature hovering around 112 degrees, and travelling North toward higher elevations and a lower temperature. That's what I did and it was one of the most beautiful trips I have ever taken.
In the distance I could see some rain clouds playing tag with the mountains so I turned my car in that direction and made my way via several roads toward that very rare sight.
When the first rain drops started to hit my windshield I turned off the AC and rolled down my windows. The air was even colder than my AC had been and the fresh smell of newly fallen rain and wet grasses was a balm to my soul. A deep sigh later and I was at peace.
